The mission of RemoteCOM is to protect the safety and welfare of the state's citizens.
This mission is accomplished by thorough analysis to determine when and under what
circumstances the subject being monitored has violated their parole or probation. RemoteCOM
will strive to establish conditions of supervision and an aftercare program that will
enhance the probability that the offender will be successfully reintegrated back into the
community, while assisting probation and parole officers.

RemoteCOM (Remote Computer Observations and Monitoring) was concieved, and established to
focus on assisting the Probation and Parole officers to manage their subjects online and
offline computer activity.
One of the primary goals ofour computer monitoring service is to gather evidence of
new criminal behaviour or significant violations
of supervision conditions, for prosecution. Our services assist the probation / parole department in
collecting this informationthrough the monitoring process.
We will also be able to download or retrieve a file from the offender's computer remotely if we receive
notice of a violation. These files can be retained by RemoteCOM for evidentiary purposes.
Our services can help reinforce treatment prohibitions against access to sexual material and reduce
community risk by increasing the offender's perception of containment.
RemoteCOM's services will also benefit the parole / probation department in assisting the treatment
agency to understand the offender. By conducting a daily analysis of the offender's online and offline
activities, along with the frequency of the materials that the offender uses on a daily basis is nothing
short of a diary that lets us know of the offender's habits and preferences.
RemoteCOM stands behind it's products and services. A main goal is to reinforce the offender's perception
of being watched. We assist the probation / parole department by ensuring that the materials and data generated
by computer monitoring is reviewed daily.
